Summer in Seattle is melt-in-your-mouth posilutely (that’s positively, absolutely) perfect. Sometimes it’s nice to explore the familiar, if that makes sense. Here are some assorted views of the glory I’ve found.
Gas Works Park boasts my favorite view of Seattle proper. And these paddle boat guys were deep in conversation about varieties of marijuana strains. And that was awesome.
And the library is so graphic and gorgeous on a summer day. Plus the Pike Place Market has those bouquets. One of my favorite things in the world is to see a man in a suit climb up the steep street from Pike Place with a pretty bouquet for his love. Every time I see it happen, it feels like a piece of history.
Then there’s all the great graffiti you encounter downtown. These are from that cute shop, Vain, in Belltown.
Oh! I love this city and especially this time of year. It’s usually light out until 9.45-10ish and there’s a festival for every minute of it. Y’all come back now, ya hear?
