Wray Family Christmas

I finally got to edit some Christmas photos! Matt and I had THE most fun traveling to Eastern Washington to visit family. Here’s a brief recap:

Long Road (cropped)

We traveled just under an hour to get to Uncle Ron & Aunt Kris’ ranch. Picture it, Papa driving a giant pickup truck with Honeybee, me, Adam, Clarissa and Brandon in the cab. And all the presents tarped up in back. It was quite beautiful.

Brandon gets cozy under the tree as Adam plucks out tunes. Cora got this awesome (bewitching and dangerous) helicopter. Hours of entertainment!

You can definitely tell Lance got what he wanted this year. He must’ve been good! While Santa was off having dinner, the littlest elf hung out with Papa. Elf Declan’s first Christmas was a success!

Then we got to jam with Grandma Jo. She hadn’t picked up this fiddle in four years and promptly played it while singing and smiling as though no time had passed at all. Go Grandma, go!

Next, we traveled to the farm – did I tell you Matt’s family grows Walla Walla sweet onions and other yummy veggies? Well, they do! Grandpa Verl here is Matt’s maternal grandfather and grower of said deliciousness for years and years. He is finally retiring.

Then we were whisked to Kathy and Dan’s lovely home for more presents and pictures. Declan was hanging around in his new portable bouncer from Nana Kathy. Aren’t they sweet? It’s so rare to see all four Wray boys in a row, but we got em.

We had an absolute blast, as always and we already miss everyone. We’ll be back soon. I can’t believe we’re in January of 2015 already. Christmas already seems long gone. Wouldn’t it be nice if spring started on New Year’s Day?! I’d like to put in a request for that next year, please. Thanks for venturing out to Walla Walla with us. We hope your holidays were just perfect.
